About the event

Virago Alley brings history to life on the stunning grounds of Agecroft Hall & Gardens on August 1st and 2nd. Warriors in Bloom is a celebration of bold figures who dared to defy conventions, changing history in the process. Virago Alley seeks to reclaim the word “virago”—once used to scorn women of strength—to invite others to feel empowered in spite of the expectations that society has placed on them. This event is not just a tribute, but a declaration of identity to honor viragos past and inspire those yet to come. This immersive event spotlights historical figures through a mix of performances, storytelling, crafting activities, and an open-air artisan market. Enjoy local vendors, historically inspired fare, and a variety of family-friendly activities in a setting that perfectly blends past and present. Warriors in Bloom is presented by Virago Alley in partnership with Agecroft Hall & Gardens. This event is rain or shine.

Your volunteer support plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the community has a welcoming and engaging experience at this event. Terms & Conditions

Volunteers will be expected to check in at the start of their shifts. If you are unable to make it for your assigned shift, please let Virago Alley know prior to the event. Volunteers will receive one complimentary ticket per shift to share or use on a day that you are not scheduled to work. If you are scheduled for a shift on a specific day, you do not need to use a promo code for that date. Your entry is already included as a volunteer. Volunteers will receive a promo code to reserve complimentary tickets upon receiving shift assignments. Additional tickets may be purchased through Eventeny.
