About the event

Join us for the inaugural Bites & Vines: Taste of Downtown in the heart of beautiful Livermore Downtown! Spend the evening strolling through participating local businesses while enjoying samples from more than 18 local wineries and breweries. Along the way, visit participating restaurants and eateries offering a variety of delicious food samples, giving you the opportunity to experience the diverse flavors that make Livermore a premier dining destination. As you sip, savor, and explore, discover unique boutiques, specialty shops, and small businesses that make Downtown Livermore such a vibrant destination. Gather your friends, family, and loved ones for an unforgettable evening of local flavors, shopping, and community in one of California's premier wine country downtowns. To add to the excitement, participants and judges will vote for their top experiences of the evening. Trophies will be awarded in both People’s Choice and Judges’ Choice categories for Best Bite, Best Wine/Beer Experience, and Best Shopping Experience. About the application

We’re looking for volunteers to help behind the scenes at the Bites & Vines: Taste of Downtown September 17th, 2026, specifically in the ticket booth and pouring wine! Volunteer duties include checking in guests and collecting tickets, verifying IDs, issuing wristbands, distributing tasting glasses booth setup/tear down, pouring wine and assisting with line control. All volunteers will receive a tasting glass and are welcome to enjoy the event before or after their shift (tasting is 21+). If you’re interested and available to be part of the behind-the-scenes team, please sign up below. Thank you in advance for helping bring this community event to life!
