Everyone is a fan of something, and EDMONTON EXPO is a place to celebrate all things pop culture. Get an autograph or a photo with your favourite guest, then get the inside scoop about your favourite movies and TV shows at our celebrity panels! Watch professional Comic Artists battle it out in our popular Sketch Duels, learn from our “How To” workshops, and take photos with your favourite costumed characters! It’s also a great place to buy a unique gift (or treat yourself!) with a huge show floor for shopping madness.

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at EDMONTON EXPO? Are you looking to gain experience in the events industry? Or are you just ready to come together with like-minded people to produce an unforgettable experience for fans? If you answered yes, THIS is the opportunity for you! Volunteer applications for EDMONTON EXPO is now OPEN! We have a variety of ways for you to get involved to help create a FAN-tastic weekend for attendees. From assisting line-ups to working in panel rooms, supporting artists, and looking after other volunteers, we have an array of opportunities that are all just as important as the next. Thank you for your interest in volunteering at EDMONTON EXPO – we can’t wait to have you join our team!

Terms & Conditions

To read our full Terms & Conditions, please open the PDF attachment 'Volunteer Waiver.' By submitting your Volunteer Application, you are confirming that you have read and fully agree to the Terms & Conditions as outlined in the 'Volunteer Waiver' document. Volunteer Deposit: If you participate at Edmonton Expo 2026 as a volunteer, a deposit of $40 will be required upon arrival for your first shift. When all volunteer shifts are successfully completed, the $40 will be returned to you upon sign-out from your last shift. Privacy Policy: If you participate in one of FAN EXPO HQ events as a volunteer, your personal information will be used in connection with the running of the event and to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us. We will also use your personal information to maintain databases that allow us to promote events and encourage further engagement at our events. In addition, photos and videos are taken at our events, which may feature volunteers. Where we have taken photos and videos at our events that feature you as a volunteer or attendee, to the extent permitted by applicable data protection laws, those photos and videos may be used for promotional purposes.
