Submission of this application expresses your interest in volunteering at OC Pride 2026. OC Pride cannot guarantee that you will be assigned to any specific position or shift, though the Volunteer Team tries to align applicant availablity and interests with our volunteer needs when assigning roles. Terms & Conditions

By submitting this application to become a festival & parade volunteer with Orange County LGBT Pride (OC Pride), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Volunteer Expectations 1.1 Commitment & Conduct Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and inclusive manner that aligns with OC Pride’s mission and values. Volunteers must be respectful of all individuals, including fellow volunteers, staff, event attendees, and community partners. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the program. 1.2 Attendance & Communication Volunteers are encouraged to commit to at least one event per quarter, though participation is flexible. If a volunteer is unable to attend a scheduled shift, they must notify the Volunteer Coordinator as soon as possible. Repeated no-shows without communication may result in removal from the volunteer program. 2. Scope of Volunteer Duties 2.1 Event Support & Roles Volunteers may assist with OC Pride’s year-round events, outreach initiatives, fundraising efforts, and community programs. Duties may include but are not limited to: event setup and breakdown, registration, hospitality, crowd engagement, community outreach, and administrative tasks. 2.2 Safety & Liability Volunteers must follow all safety protocols and guidelines provided by OC Pride staff. OC Pride is not responsible for any personal injuries, lost or stolen belongings, or damages incurred while volunteering. Volunteers are encouraged to take necessary precautions while on duty. 3. Confidentiality & Media Release 3.1 Confidentiality Agreement Volunteers may have access to sensitive or private information related to OC Pride’s operations, community partners, or event attendees. Volunteers must maintain confidentiality and not disclose any non-public information. 3.2 Media & Photography Release By participating as a volunteer, you acknowledge that OC Pride may capture photos and videos of events, which may include images of volunteers. OC Pride reserves the right to use such media for promotional, educational, and outreach purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform the Volunteer Coordinator in advance. 4. Code of Conduct & Dismissal 4.1 Code of Conduct Violations OC Pride reserves the right to dismiss volunteers at any time for failing to uphold the terms of this agreement. Grounds for dismissal include but are not limited to: misconduct, harassment, failure to follow event instructions, no-shows, or representing OC Pride in a manner inconsistent with its mission and values. 5. Agreement & Acceptance By submitting this application, I confirm that: ✅ I have read, understood, and agree to abide by the OC Pride Volunteer Program Terms & Conditions. ✅ I understand that volunteering is an unpaid role, and I am offering my time and services voluntarily. ✅ I understand that I may be required to undergo training and follow all provided guidelines during my volunteer service.
