Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Chattanooga Comic Con 2026! Our volunteers are a vital part of creating an unforgettable experience for fans, guests, artists, vendors, and attendees from across the region. Chattanooga Comic Con is an all-ages celebration of comics, cosplay, gaming, animation, pop culture, and fandom. Our mission is to create an affordable, welcoming, and exciting event that brings fans together through creativity, community, and shared passions.

Terms & Conditions

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS To be considered as a volunteer, applicants must: Be at least 16 years old Be dependable, professional, and punctual Be able to work assigned shifts Maintain a positive and respectful attitude toward guests, attendees, vendors, and staff Follow all Chattanooga Comic Con policies and staff instructions Be comfortable working in a fast-paced convention environment Be capable of standing and/or walking for extended periods of time Wear provided volunteer credentials/shirts while on shift Agree to represent Chattanooga Comic Con in a professional manner at all times Volunteers under 18 may require parental consent. VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS As a Chattanooga Comic Con volunteer, you are expected to: Arrive on time for assigned shifts Check in with your department lead before and after shifts Assist attendees with directions and general information Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment Communicate professionally with guests and fellow volunteers Refrain from disruptive behavior while representing the convention Avoid using phones excessively while on duty Follow all safety and emergency procedures Volunteers are representatives of Chattanooga Comic Con and help shape the attendee experience. VOLUNTEER PERKS Approved volunteers may receive: Event credential/access during assigned days Chattanooga Comic Con volunteer shirt (while supplies last) Community service hours (upon request) Behind-the-scenes convention experience Opportunities to meet fellow fans and creators Volunteer perks are dependent upon completion of assigned shifts and compliance with event policies.
