About the event

About the Show - The 2026 Festival show will mark the 59th annual Bel Air Festival for the Arts, sponsored by the Bel Air Recreation Committee. With up to 300 artists, photographers and craftspeople, the show represents one of the largest one-day events in the Mid-Atlantic Region. When is the Show - The 2026 Bel Air Festival for the Arts will be held on September 13, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Where is the Show - The Bel Air Festival for the Arts will be held in Shamrock Park on 39 Hickory Avenue in Bel Air, Maryland. Shamrock Park is located behind the Bel Air Public Library and the Bel Air Town Hall and Police Headquarters building To Apply - Online Exhibitor Applications for are open now on the festival website at www.belairartsfestival.org Additional Information - The show includes some of the finest and most unique fine art, photography, and hand-made crafts on the east coast. The Festival features continuous live entertainment on the bandshell stage plus performers roving through the crowds. A wide variety of wonderful foods are available. Profits from food concession sales go directly to benefit Bel Air Parks and Recreation programs. Offering a great opportunity for early holiday shopping, as well as food, entertainment, and activities for the children, the Bel Air Festival for the Arts is an event the entire family will enjoy. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the Festival grounds. Remember, the Bel Air Festival for the Arts is ALWAYS a "rain or shine" event. The Bel Air Festival for the Arts receives support from the Town of Bel Air and from a Community Arts Development Grant from the Harford County Cultural Arts Board.

About the application

1st and 6th Shifts assist the Exhibitors in setting up and tearing down the exhibits. 2d - 5th Shifts assist the Food Vendors supporting the Bel Air Festival for the Arts and general housekeeping around the festival grounds. Food Vendors donate a portion of their revenue to the Bel Air Recreation Committee's Youth Program as a fund raiser. These proceeds are distributed to the various youth programs that the volunteers represent and can result in several thousand dollars to the various BARC youth programs. Volunteers assist primarily with food service and sales and other tasks chosen by the Food Vendor. Volunteers supporting food vendors must be older than 15 due to the presence of hot stoves, grills and sharp knives, etc.

Terms & Conditions

Volunteers must be willing to work at least one 2 hour shift to earn credits for their youth sports program. Volunteers agree to the BARC Liability Release Conditions and to adhere to the BARC Code of Conduct.
