Grab your friends and stroll a one-mile route through downtown as participating local businesses serve up margaritas, mocktails, and margarita-themed sippers along the way. From classic lime favorites to creative tropical twists, each stop offers a unique taste and atmosphere to explore. Enjoy live music, shopping, photo ops, and the vibrant energy of Downtown Taylor while supporting local businesses one sip at a time. Whether you’re a margarita connoisseur or just in it for the fun, the Margarita Mile is the perfect way to sip, shop, and celebrate downtown together.

Terms & Conditions

1. Volunteer Agreement By signing up to volunteer for the Margarita Mile (“Event”), you acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and that you are not an employee, contractor, or agent of the Event organizers or sponsoring entities. 2. Eligibility Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age unless explicitly approved in advance by Event organizers. Volunteers must provide accurate registration information and emergency contact details. 3. Code of Conduct Volunteers agree to: Act in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner at all times Follow instructions provided by Event staff and designated coordinators Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior Represent the Event positively when interacting with participants and the public Failure to comply may result in immediate dismissal from volunteer duties. 4. Alcohol & Responsible Environment The Margarita Mile is a hospitality-focused event that may include alcohol service at participating locations. Volunteers must: Not consume alcohol or be under the influence while on duty Not provide alcohol to minors or intoxicated individuals Follow all applicable local, state, and federal alcohol service laws Immediately report unsafe or unlawful behavior to Event leadership 5. Safety & Liability Volunteers acknowledge that participation may involve walking, standing for extended periods, outdoor conditions, and interaction with the public. Volunteers assume all risks associated with participation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, volunteers release and hold harmless the Event organizers, sponsors, venues, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation. 6. Scheduling & Attendance Volunteers are expected to arrive on time for assigned shifts and remain for the duration of their scheduled duties. If a volunteer is unable to attend, they must notify Event coordinators as soon as possible. 7. Dress Code & Identification Volunteers must wear any provided Event identification (such as shirts, badges, or wristbands) during their shift. Closed-toe, comfortable footwear is required. Additional dress guidelines may be provided depending on assignment. 8. Assignment Flexibility Volunteer roles are assigned based on Event needs and may include guest assistance, check-in support, route guidance, setup, cleanup, or hospitality support. Assignments may be adjusted at any time. 9. Media Release By volunteering, you grant permission for your image, likeness, and voice to be captured in photographs, video, or other media during the Event and used for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes without compensation. 10. Privacy Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for Event coordination, communication, and safety purposes and will not be sold or shared outside Event partners except as required for operational needs. 11. Termination of Participation Event organizers reserve the right to terminate volunteer participation at any time for violation of these terms, unsafe behavior, or failure to perform assigned duties. 12. Acknowledgment By registering and participating as a volunteer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
