About the event

The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival®, fondly known as “The Bloom,” is a 10-day springtime celebration in Winchester, Virginia. Since 1924, it has honored the region’s apple heritage with parades, concerts, dances, races, and community gatherings, all set against a backdrop of pink and green blossoms.

By registering as a volunteer, you agree to serve in a professional, respectful, and dependable manner while representing the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival. Volunteers are expected to arrive on time for scheduled shifts, follow instructions provided by event staff, and perform assigned duties to the best of their ability. Volunteer assignments may be adjusted based on event needs. Volunteers understand they may be participating in outdoor activities and should dress appropriately for weather conditions and assigned tasks. The Festival reserves the right to dismiss any volunteer whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with Festival policies. By participating, volunteers acknowledge that they do so at their own risk and agree to follow all safety guidelines provided by Festival staff.
