Farmington Founders Festival – A Tradition Reimagined for 2026 The Farmington Founders Festival is one of the community’s most cherished traditions, bringing residents, families, and visitors together for a weekend full of celebration, entertainment, and hometown pride. Beginning in 1964, the festival has grown into a signature summer gathering that highlights the best of Farmington — its small-town charm, vibrant downtown, and strong community spirit. In 2026, the festival enters an exciting new chapter under the management of JAG Entertainment. While honoring the traditions that families have loved for decades, the festival team is working closely with City officials, downtown businesses, and community organizations to introduce fresh ideas and expanded programming. Guests can expect returning favorites such as the parade, crafters, food trucks, the beer tent, children’s activities, bingo, live music, and the annual run — along with new experiences designed to create an even more engaging, family-friendly atmosphere throughout downtown. The goal of the 2026 Farmington Founders Festival is simple: Celebrate what makes Farmington special while creating meaningful opportunities for connection, enjoyment, and community involvement. Volunteer at the Farmington Founders Festival! Volunteers help keep the festival running smoothly by assisting with guest services, color run, parade, activity zones, and general event support. It’s a fun, fast-paced way to give back to the community while enjoying a front-row role in the excitement of the weekend. As a volunteer, you’ll work alongside our festival team to support activity areas, greet guests, help with festival operations, and keep the event running smoothly throughout the weekend. Whether you’re a student looking for community service hours, a resident who loves downtown Farmington, or someone who simply enjoys being part of a big community event, we’d love to have you join us! Volunteer Roles May Include: • Greeting guests and providing directions • Assisting at activity zones such as Family Fun Zone or the Art Zone • Supporting festival logistics and booth management • Helping with setup or teardown (optional) What We’re Looking For: • Friendly, reliable volunteers excited to help welcome visitors • Individuals comfortable working outdoors in summer conditions • Ability to stand or walk for portions of a shift • Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed What Volunteers Receive: • Community service verification (if needed) • A fun, memorable experience supporting your community
