About the application

Dancers in The Blaze It Forward Pride Parade Join us as a dancer volunteer for the Blaze It Forward Pride Parade! We are looking for enthusiastic, committed individuals to be part of a choreographed dance performance representing our community with joy, pride, and energy. Volunteers will participate in regular rehearsals to learn and perform a group choreography at various community events, culminating in the OC Pride Blaze It Forward Parade on Saturday, October 10th. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Pride, connect with fellow community members, and share your love of dance with audiences across Orange County. What to expect as a dancer volunteer: Attend scheduled rehearsals leading up to the parade and other performances Learn and perform a group choreography Represent Blaze It Forward with enthusiasm and team spirit at all events Be available for the OC Pride Blaze It Forward Parade on Saturday, October 10th No professional dance experience is required -- just a passion for movement, performance, and Pride!

Terms & Conditions

Dancer Volunteer Terms and Conditions Blaze It Forward Pride Parade By submitting this volunteer application, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Age Requirement Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian review and provide written consent prior to participating in any rehearsals or events. 2. Attendance and Rehearsal Commitment Dancer volunteers are expected to attend all scheduled rehearsals and performances to the best of their ability. Regular attendance is essential to the success of the group choreography and fellow volunteers. Volunteers who are unable to attend a rehearsal must notify the organizers in advance. Repeated absences may result in removal from the performance roster. 3. Code of Conduct All volunteers are expected to treat fellow dancers, organizers, event staff, and the public with respect and kindness. Blaze It Forward is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the volunteer program. 4. Photo and Video Release By participating as a dancer volunteer, you grant Blaze It Forward and its affiliates permission to photograph and/or record video of you during rehearsals and events, including the OC Pride Blaze It Forward Parade. These images and recordings may be used for promotional, educational, and social media purposes without compensation. Volunteers under 18 must have parental or guardian consent for this release to apply. 5. Social Media Guidelines Volunteers are encouraged to share their experience on social media and to tag Blaze It Forward in posts related to the parade and events. However, volunteers must not post content that depicts other participants in an unflattering, disrespectful, or unauthorized manner. Any content that could negatively reflect on Blaze It Forward or the OC Pride community may be subject to a removal request. 6. Liability Waiver Participation as a dancer volunteer involves physical activity. By applying, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating and assume all risks associated with rehearsals and performances, including but not limited to physical injury. Blaze It Forward, its organizers, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during volunteer activities. Volunteers are encouraged to inform organizers of any physical limitations or health concerns prior to rehearsals. 7. Volunteer Status Participation as a dancer volunteer is unpaid and does not constitute employment or a contractual obligation on the part of Blaze It Forward. By submitting this application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must also agree to these terms on your behalf.
