About the event

Get ready to experience the flavors of the sea like never before! The Beach Haven Chamber of Commerce presents the annual Beach Haven Chowder Cook-off. This beloved culinary festival gathers chowder enthusiasts, local restaurants, and food lovers for a day of taste-testing, entertainment, and community fun in the Queen City. Saturday's Merchant Mart is from 10am-5pm and is free to enter. Enjoy live music, shop our nearly 100 vendors and purchase food and drinks from our selection of local establishments! Sunday is the official Chowder Cook-Off! This ticketed event runs 11am-4pm. All attending must have a ticket to enter the event (unless under 10 years old).

About the application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Beach Haven Chowder Cook-Off! This event happens thanks to all of you! We have several different areas and shift times you can sign-up for. These include: Friday Oct. 2nd:- Assisting with set-up of the event Saturday Oct. 3rd:- Pre-scanning and wristbanding Sunday ticket holders- Beer Pourers (Must be 21+ and TIPS Certified)- Cashiers at the bars Sunday Oct. 4th:- Greeters helping guide guests into the event- Ticket Scanning & Wristbands- Floaters inside the event helping guests with voting- Beer Pourers (Must be 21+ and TIPS Certified)- Cashiers at the bars- Assisting with event breakdown
