For the first time under our production, we’re proud to bring back Fiesta en la Playa—a coastal tradition that has been part of the community for the past 17 years—now reimagined as a Market & Music Festival experience. This is more than just a market… it’s a full weekend destination. Enjoy a large outdoor stage featuring a mix of Tejano and Country music all weekend long (band lineup coming soon), surrounded by a vibrant marketplace filled with vendors, incredible food, and that laid-back coastal energy Rockport is known for. Shoppers can expect a wide variety of handmade goods, unique finds, local art, boutique items, and more. Vendors can expect strong foot traffic, extended holiday crowds, and an audience that’s ready to shop, eat, and stay awhile. About the application

Be part of something big this Labor Day Weekend in Rockport, Texas.We’re bringing back Fiesta en la Playa as a full-scale Music & Mercado Festival, and we need an awesome team of volunteers/employee’s to help make it happen. If you like being around live music, great food, and a high-energy crowd, you’re going to have a good time here. Volunteer/Employment Roles: We’ve got a variety of positions available. You can select your preference in the application: Ticket Booths: Handle sales of gate tickets and drink tickets. Check-In & Info Booth – Help guests and vendors get where they need to go. Vendor Support Team – Assist vendors with basic needs and directions. Stage & Music Support – Help keep things running smoothly around the stage. Kids Activity Area – Assist with games, activities, and family fun. Setup Crew – Help us get everything ready before gates open Breakdown Crew – Help pack it all up at the end of the night. Let’s be real—you’re helping us out, so we take care of you too: Perks: Free festival access during your shift day. Volunteer T-shirt, Food & drink vouchers, Behind-the-scenes experience of a major festival, Community service hours (if needed)

Terms & Conditions

By submitting this application and accepting a position, you agree to the following terms: 1. Employment Status: This is a temporary, event-based paid position for Fiesta en la Playa Music & Mercado Festival. This role is not full-time or ongoing employment. 2. Pay Structure: Pay is based on completed shifts only. You must arrive on time and complete your full shift to receive payment. Partial shifts or early departures may result in reduced or no pay. Payment will be issued via check. 3. Attendance: You are expected to arrive on time and ready to work. Failure to show up (no-call/no-show) will result in removal from current and future opportunities. If you are unable to attend, you must notify event management as early as possible. 4. Job Responsibilities: Staff must follow all directions from event management and team leads. Roles may be adjusted as needed during the event. A positive, professional attitude is required when interacting with guests, vendors, and team members. 5. Work Conditions: This is an outdoor event, you should be prepared for heat, wind, or other coastal weather conditions. Some positions may require standing for extended periods and light lifting (up to 25 lbs) 6. Dress Code: staff must wear their assigned event shirt (if provided) during their shift. Closed-toe shoes are required. Staff should maintain a clean and presentable appearance. 7. Conduct Policy: No drugs or illegal substances permitted at any time, no alcohol consumption while on duty. Disruptive, unsafe, or unprofessional behavior may result in immediate removal without pay. 8. Liability Waiver: By participating, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily working at the event. Event organizers are not responsible for personal injury, lost items, or damages. 9. Media Release: You agree that photos/videos taken during the event may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. 10. Agreement: By submitting this application, you confirm that: All information provided is accurate. You have read and agree to these terms. You understand that failure to follow these terms may result in removal and/or non-payment
