Terms & Conditions

Volunteer Commitment Volunteers are expected to arrive on time and remain for the full duration of their scheduled shift. If you are unable to attend your shift, please notify the event coordinator as soon as possible. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may impact eligibility for future volunteer opportunities. Roles & Responsibilities Volunteers agree to perform assigned tasks to the best of their ability and follow direction from event staff. Volunteers represent Downtown Chambersburg, Inc. and are expected to act in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner at all times. Dress Code & Conduct Volunteers should wear appropriate attire for the event (comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes unless otherwise specified). Behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate may result in dismissal from the event. Food Voucher Volunteers will receive one (1) food voucher per completed volunteer shift. Vouchers are non-transferable, have no cash value, and must be used during the event unless otherwise specified. Vouchers will be distributed after the completion of the volunteer shift. Health & Safety Volunteers participate at their own risk and should only perform tasks they are physically able to complete. Any injuries, incidents, or safety concerns should be reported immediately to event staff. Liability Waiver By volunteering, you acknowledge and accept any risks associated with participation and agree to release and hold harmless Downtown Chambersburg, Inc., its staff, and affiliates from any liability related to injury, loss, or damage. Media Release Volunteers grant permission for photos or videos taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes by Downtown Chambersburg, Inc' Fountain Fest.
