The Midwest's Premier Gaming Expo is coming back Oct 15th-18th, 2026. GDEX is Ohio's center for gaming featuring a weekend full of games to play, tournaments to compete in, raffles with unique prizes, educational workshops and tons more! GDEX is the regions top Game Dev Conference that brings in top developers from around the country to Connect with each other about the industry, Learn about game dev from some of the best industry professionals, and Share their work with their colleagues.

About the application

Welcome to the GDEX 2026 Exhibitor Application! Thank you for your interest in volunteering with GDEX! GDEX would not exist without all the amazing people who help make it run throughout the weekend. Volunteers will be expected to have all day availability (8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.) for one of these date blocks (but preferably two): Thursday, October 15th Friday, October 16th Saturday, October 17th Sunday, October 18th *The availability is for scheduling purposes only, not to work the entire time. Shifts will not be back to back unless it is preferred.

Terms & Conditions

There are a few other things to keep in mind. You must be at least 18 years old by Thursday, October 15th All volunteers will work two 3-4 hour shifts, totaling in 6-8 hours of service. These will generally be across two days, but in some cases may be same day. In exchange for your time, you will receive one T-Shirt and one full show pass (does not include Dev Day) which allow access to the entire GDEX show as long as you fulfill two shifts! Please do not purchase any tickets through GDEX prior to receiving confirmation of your volunteer status as GDEX show badges are non-refundable.
