San Diego’s biggest celebration of diversity and inclusion is calling your name! San Diego Pride returns to Balboa Park with community resources, queer-owned businesses, and multiple entertainment zones. Pride is more than a moment—it’s a movement. San Diego Pride continues after the parade and festival. Our registered 501c3, non-profit organization provides advocacy, community programs, and philanthropic efforts year-round. About the application

This is the volunteer application for the San Diego Pride Festival Medical Team. Medical volunteers will be responsible for providing basic first aid and BLS medical care to pride staff and volunteers who are helping set up the San Diego Pride Week events of as well as attendees of events. Volunteer positions are also available for administrative support of the Medical team. All San Diego Pride BLS medical volunteers are required to possess a minimum of an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC). Hospital equivalents like RQI and BART are also accepted, but no other BLS certificates will be accepted. It is not required for the medical volunteer to be a healthcare worker. All certificates must be submitted in this application for verification. There will be trainings for the medical volunteers as well. Please click "Start Registration" to the left to get started. You will fill in your information, then pick your shifts at the end of the application. We will keep you updated about your shifts and more information as we get closer to the event.
