About the event

This is Smithfield's town festival started 40 years ago to showcase the best ham and pork produced right here in Johnston County. This festival has grown to include great entertainment, food and fun for the whole family.

About the application

4 Hour Shift to work at the Ham & Yam Festival, either helping with set-up on Friday May 1st, or with the event itself on Saturday May 2nd. Volunteers will be provided with a special Event Volunteer T-Shirt, $10.00 in Downtown Dollars, and other event perks.

Terms & Conditions

Volunteers must attend a 30 minute Volunteer Orientation on Thursday, APril 23rd 7:30-8:00 or Sunday, April 26th from 3:00-3:30. If you cannot attend one of those orientations you MUST reach out to admin@downtownsmithfield.com
