About the event

Kitsap Pride is Kitsap County's premier LGBTQ+ Pride event. It is a free, family-friendly event. Our main stage will feature live music, DJ, and drag performances. Kitsap Pride hosts a beer garden and a Pride store for our logo merchandise. We work with partners to provide programming for teens and youth as well.

About the application

Celebrate 30 years of Kitsap Pride! Our festival thrives because of the heart and soul of our volunteers. As we mark this milestone anniversary, we invite you to help us celebrate, support, and unite the LGBTQIA+ community across Kitsap County. Your gift of time makes this event sustainable, memorable, and inclusive for everyone. Most shifts are 2 hours long. We encourage you to choose times that allow you to enjoy the festival at your own pace. Please sign up for your preferred time slots and activities. While we will do our best to match you with your top choices, final assignments will be sent out prior to the event. • Parking is available throughout the fairgrounds complex, a short walk from Gordon Field. • The Volunteer Check-in and Hospitality tent is located behind the Bar. • This is a large outdoor event. We encourage all volunteers to be vaccinated for the safety of our community. • Questions or feedback? Reach out to us at volunteers@kitsappride.org.

Terms & Conditions

• Physical Requirements: Many roles involve walking long distances, lifting heavy objects, or standing for extended periods. Please review shift descriptions and dress comfortably for the weather. • Personal Belongings: Please bring only what you need. Volunteers are responsible for the security and storage of their own items. All personal property must be removed from the venue by the end of the event. • Safety and Conduct: Kitsap Pride is a safe space for you. If you encounter protestors, unsupportive behavior, or anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, please report it immediately to the Volunteer Tent, security, or the information booth. • Age Requirements: Volunteers aged 16 and under must have a parent or guardian sign up and volunteer with them. Volunteers working in the Bar must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid MAST card.
