message Marking spots with spray chalk. *Chalk can stain clothing so please wear items you don't care about. There are places to change, should you want to stay for the event. Walking long distances, bending and standing for the entire time period is required for this task.

message Volunteer Check-In set up tasks include table set up, hanging banners and setting up / monitoring coffee / beverages for staff. General Tasks include checking in Volunteers, providing items to volunteers & staff, answering questions. Task also includes covering for Volunteer Coordinator during breaks. Lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods may be required for this task. Use chair for accommodation, if needed.

message Hang out at the gates, don't allow vendors access to come onto the foot print but allow set up crews to come in (bleachers, electricity, rock wall etc). Standing for long periods may be required for this task. Bring your own chair for accommodation.

message Bring your own camera and take photos of the crowd, vendors, performers and more. Volunteers deliver these photos to Ferndale Pride via a Google Drive link. Ferndale Pride is allowed to use these photos for promotional purposes and will give photo credit accordingly.

message Runners will check-in with all major areas (Volunteer Check-In, DJ/Dance Stage, Recovery Zone, Main Stage, Children's Area and Hugs!). Runners will assess needs and help as needed. Examples, fetching staff meals, refilling coolers, covering a booth during staff breaks, etc. Runners need to be able to quickly travel 1/2 mile, repeatedly & communicate effectively. Quickly walking long distances, lifting heavy objects and standing for long period required for this task.
