About the event

Established in 2004, the Bay View Bash is a community festival of food, art, music, crafts, books, and community organizations.The Bash is the main funding source of the Bay View Community Fund Inc, a IRS certified 501(c)4, Non-for-Profit Foundation. All proceeds from the Bay View Bash are directly invested back into our city’s neighborhoods through GRANTS to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations who request funding for special projects. Additionally, the Bay View Bash partners with local composting group Kompost Kids to continue efforts in moving the Bash toward a near Zero-Waste Festival.

The Bash is a 100% volunteer-fueled street festival, and your time helps us keep the good vibes going while supporting the Bay View neighborhood and the rad people who call it home. As a thank-you, you’ll get a free t-shirt, a drink ticket (beer or soda) and a meal on us. Volunteering is a fun way to be part of the action—whether you come solo, with a friend or roll deep with your whole crew. Thanks for helping us make one of our favorite days of the year happen!
