By registering as a volunteer for the Light the Circle Pink event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Volunteer Role
Volunteers may assist with tasks such as placing and removing temporary event signage, helping with event setup or breakdown, and other general event support duties as directed by event organizers.
2. Assumption of Responsibility
Volunteers understand that certain activities may involve walking, lifting light equipment, or working outdoors in public areas. By participating, volunteers agree to take reasonable care for their own safety and to follow all instructions provided by event organizers.
3. Liability Waiver
By volunteering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Light the Circle Pink event, the KNOTTY Girl Foundation, event organizers, sponsors, partners, and the City of Sebring from any liability, injury, loss, or damages that may occur while participating in volunteer activities, except where prohibited by law.
4. Safety Expectations
Volunteers agree to:
Follow all safety instructions provided by event coordinators
Use caution when working near streets or sidewalks
Report any concerns, hazards, or incidents to event staff immediately
5. Age Requirement
Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian’s consent and may be required to volunteer with a supervising adult.
6. Photography & Media
Volunteers understand that photos or video may be taken during the event and may be used for promotional or educational purposes related to the mission of Light the Circle Pink and the KNOTTY Girl Foundation.
7. Volunteer Status
All volunteers are donating their time and services freely and are not employees of the event or organization and will not receive compensation.
