About the event

LET’S HAVE A SPOOKTACULAR GOOD TIME AT HOWLOWEEN 2021! JOIN LDRC FOR A PET COSTUME CONTEST, PET PARADE, VENDORS, FOOD TRUCKS, AND THE 2ND ANNUAL DOWNTOWN DOXIE DASH! IT ALL HAPPENS ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23RD FROM 10:00 AM TO 2:00 PM AT BARRON PARK! THE PET COSTUME CONTEST, JUDGED BY THE BEAUTIFUL SWAMP CABBAGE FESTIVAL QUEEN AND PRINCESSES, WILL BEGIN AT 10:00 AM WITH THE PARADE FOLLOWING IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE COSTUME WINNERS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED. THE DOWNTOWN DOXIE DASH WILL BEGIN AT 11:00 AM.

About the application

We will need volunteers for our HowlOWeen gaming area. We will have several stations that we need help setting up: paw print paintings obstacle course photo booth/backdrop competitions like most common/likely breed, etc. talents Volunteers will be asked to help set up the stations, arrival time between 7:30am and 8:00am. The event is from 10am to 2pm, we will need volunteers the entire time. Breakdown of the stations will be needed. Approximately an hour for breakdown.
