1. Eligibility Requirements
I confirm that I am at least 21 years of age at the time of the event. I understand that valid government-issued ID may be required for verification.
2. Volunteer Status
I understand that my participation is voluntary and unpaid. I am not an employee, contractor, or agent of the event organizers and am not entitled to wages or employee benefits.
3. Role & Responsibilities
I acknowledge that my role may include interacting with attendees, assisting vendors, managing check-in, and handling payments. I agree to:
Follow all instructions from event staff
Act professionally and respectfully toward all attendees, vendors, and team members
Accurately and responsibly handle any money or payment systems, if assigned
4. Code of Conduct
I agree to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. I will not engage in:
Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior
Intoxication or impairment while on duty
Unauthorized distribution or consumption of event products while working
5. Substance Awareness
I understand that the event may include cannabis, kava, and other functional beverages. I agree:
To follow all event rules regarding product handling and distribution
To comply with all applicable local and state laws
Alcohol-Free Policy
This is a strictly alcohol-free event. Volunteers are prohibited from:
Bringing alcohol onto the event premises
Consuming alcohol before or during their shift
Reporting to the event under the influence of alcohol
Any volunteer who appears intoxicated or impaired by alcohol may be removed from their role and asked to leave the event immediately.
Event organizers reserve the right to deny participation or dismiss any volunteer suspected of alcohol consumption or intoxication, at their sole discretion, in order to maintain a safe environment for all attendees.
6. Attendance & Reliability
I understand that volunteers are essential to event operations. I agree to attend assigned shifts and notify organizers as early as possible if I am unable to attend.
7. Volunteer Perks
I understand that volunteers may receive perks (such as meals, apparel, event access, or promotional items), but these are not guaranteed compensation and may be revoked if I fail to fulfill my responsibilities.
8. Health & Safety
I confirm that I am physically and mentally able to perform assigned tasks. I agree to:
Follow all safety procedures
Report hazards, incidents, or injuries immediately
Take breaks as needed and communicate with supervisors
9. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
I acknowledge that participation in this event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to crowd-related incidents, physical activity, and exposure to cannabis or other substances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I voluntarily assume all risks and agree to release, waive, and hold harmless the event organizers, staff, sponsors, venue, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from my participation, including injury, illness, loss, or damage, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Media Release
I grant permission for the event organizers to photograph, film, or record me during the event and to use this content for promotional, marketing, or commercial purposes without compensation.
11. Confidentiality
I agree not to share confidential or sensitive information related to event operations, vendors, or attendees.
12. Property & Equipment
I agree to properly use and return any provided materials, equipment, or credentials. I understand I may be responsible for damage caused by negligence or misuse.
13. Removal from Event
I understand that the event organizers reserve the right to remove me from my volunteer role at any time for violation of these terms, unsafe behavior, or failure to follow instructions.
