About the event

Starting this year, ART CRUSH will take place four times annually: May · July · September · November This refined schedule allows us to invest more deeply in each event while continuing to support arts and cultural activity throughout the city year-round. Terms & Conditions

Thank you for signing up to volunteer with ART CRUSH! You play an important role in creating a welcoming, engaging experience for our community while representing both ART CRUSH and the Arts District of Winston-Salem. To help everything run smoothly, please review the guidelines below. Representation & Conduct While volunteering, you are representing ART CRUSH and the Arts District of Winston-Salem. We ask that you interact with guests, artists, and fellow volunteers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner that reflects positively on the event. Volunteer Identification & Responsibilities Volunteers are required to wear the designated pink ART CRUSH vest while on duty. During your shift, please stay focused on your assigned role and be ready to assist with event needs as they arise. Alcohol & Patronage Policy While wearing your volunteer vest and actively volunteering, you may not consume alcohol or patronize local bars. If you would like to enjoy the event as an attendee, simply remove your vest and officially conclude your volunteer shift before doing so. Commitment & Accountability By signing up, you agree to follow these guidelines. Not adhering to them may result in dismissal from your volunteer role and could affect future opportunities to participate. We’re grateful for your time and energy — thank you for helping make ART CRUSH a success and for supporting the Arts District of Winston-Salem. After signing up, you’ll receive an additional email where you can select your specific volunteer task. Please check your spam or promotions folder just in case, and be sure to save that email to your contacts.

This shift includes a little bit of everything — serving as “The Muscle,” supporting vendor load-in logistics, helping clear the road of traffic, and setting the tone with a friendly face ready to answer questions from the public. It’s hands-on, high-energy, and a great way to jump right into the action.
