Join us for Humboldt County’s favorite summer event series, celebrating local makers, food vendors, performers, and live music every Friday in Old Town Eureka! Each week, the Eureka Friday Night Market brings together hundreds of artisans, farmers, and chefs, creating a lively space to shop, eat, and connect. With new vendors added regularly, there’s always something fresh to discover. Support the small businesses that make Humboldt unique and be part of a thriving local community!

About the application

Volunteer at Friday Night Market! Join the fun behind the scenes at one of Humboldt’s most beloved summer events! We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable volunteers to help us bring the magic to life every Friday in Old Town Eureka. Volunteer Roles Include: Event Setup (assist with tents, tables, signage, etc.) Breakdown/Cleanup (help us leave Old Town better than we found it!) Exit Monitoring (greet guests and help maintain a safe event flow) Bar Support (must be 21+ and have experience behind a bar) Time frame for shift is 4pm - 9pm. All positions require volunteers to be able to lift/carry 30lbs and stand for extended periods of time. Perks for Volunteering: 1 Drink token per shift for the Market Bar (including N/A options like local kombucha!) Friday Night Market koozie Meet awesome people & help build community vibes Whether you're down to lend a hand for one shift or want to hang out all evening, we’d love to have you on the team!

Terms & Conditions

By signing up as a volunteer for the Eureka Friday Night Market, I agree to the following: Punctuality: I will arrive on time for my assigned volunteer time and check in with the Market Coordinator upon arrival. Conduct: I will treat all attendees, vendors, staff, and fellow volunteers with kindness and respect. Safety: I agree to follow all event safety guidelines and immediately report any unsafe conditions to staff. Alcohol Service (if applicable): If I am volunteering at the bar, I confirm that I am 21 or older and will serve responsibly. No-Show Policy: I understand that if I am unable to attend my volunteer shift, I will notify the event team as soon as possible so a replacement can be found. Use of Images: I consent to the use of photos or videos taken of me during the event for promotional purposes by Humboldt Made and Friday Night Market. Liability: I understand that I am volunteering at my own risk and will not hold the event organizers liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred while volunteering.
