About the event

The Maine Lobster Festival is five days of fun and feasting on the fabulous coast of Maine! This annual event takes place during the first weekend of August, from Wednesday through Sunday.

About the application

The food tent has a wide variety of jobs, including assisting in prepping food for dishes served in the food tent such as lobster dinners, seafood, desserts and drinks. Help keep the tables washed, the trash barrels emptied, and the ground cleaned up in the food tent, providing a critical service in making sure attendees have the very best experience. A great opportunity for school groups to earn funds for their teams, clubs, and events such as project graduation! Please reach out to volunteer@mainelobsterfestival.com with questions about how to sign up a group. Please note, if you are signing up your underage children to assist, please add your email and add +1 after the name. IE: name@email.com additional people using this email use this: name+1@email.com.

Terms & Conditions

All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and a 1/2 price meal coupon (for use in the lobster tent, chowder hut, or lobster cafe) when checking in. We recommend comfortable shoes and pants/shorts/skirts you do not mind getting a little messy. Water is available to all volunteers at any time. PLEASE let us know in advance if you have any other needs. We are happy to accomodate as much as we are able.
