message The team host is a position that is very important to the championship teams and one where we need professional and hospitable volunteers to help the teams. We will need the team host to be available the entire time the team is here in town. Depending on how the team performs in the tournament, will also determine the length you will need to work (i.e. if your team gets knocked out in the first round, you will be done early but if they make it to the championship, you will have to work the entire time). Each team host will have a different experience, depending on how much your team wants to utilize you. Overall, though, you are there to help your team with any request they may have. It might be everything from helping them make a dinner reservation to helping them find a laundromat. The team hosts will need to be at the regatta event with the teams too, so you must be available during those times as well. While this job can be time consuming, it will be a great, fun experience. You are essentially an extension of the team, and they should treat you as such. We will also provide you a lot of information leading up to the championship, so you should have that on hand to help you with any questions you might have. It will be a really fun VIP job!
