About the event

The Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival (and March) welcome over 700,000 visitors to Columbus for the largest free pride festival and resource fair in the Midwest. For 44 years Stonewall Columbus has served the Central Ohio community working to uplift LGBTQIA+ identities. Stonewall’s annual Pride Festival and March serve as the organization’s largest annual fundraiser that secures the needed funds to support Stonewall’s community programs and annual operations.

About the application

Be a part of Pride 2026! Experience Pride in a new way—make new friends, celebrate in community, and create a lasting impact. The 2026 Pride theme, “Until We’re All Free,” reflects Stonewall Columbus’ belief that liberation is collective and ongoing. Rooted in more than four decades of advocacy, the theme emphasizes that Pride is not only a celebration, but a call to action centered on justice, dignity, and the freedom to live authentically. As LGBTQ+ communities face renewed challenges to visibility, safety, and civil rights, this theme highlights the shared responsibility to stand together across identities and generations. It reinforces Stonewall Columbus’ year-round commitment to inclusion through its Pride 365 efforts in advocacy, education, engagement, and community care. As one of the largest Pride celebrations in the Midwest, Stonewall Columbus Pride brings together hundreds of thousands each year—creating a powerful platform for visibility, solidarity, and joy. “Until We’re All Free” serves as both a declaration and an invitation to help build a more inclusive future, together. Volunteers are the heart of Pride, and we are especially grateful for your support. Sign up for as many shifts as you'd like, and let’s make Pride 2026 an unforgettable celebration of unity and strength.

Terms & Conditions

There will be additional communication prior to the Festival and March instructing you where to check-in for your shift and volunteer leads will provide more information upon your arrival the day-of as to your specific duties and assignments for your shift. The weekend of Pride is generally very hot and the safety and well-being of our volunteers is our utmost priority. Please communicate very clearly any accommodations you will need for your shift and during your shift if you should ever need a break. As a small token of our appreciation, volunteers will receive one drink ticket (non-alcoholic/alcoholic included), a volunteer t-shirt, snacks and water during volunteer hours. Volunteers will be required to wear their volunteer t-shirt during their shift so they can be easily identified. Please dress accordingly for the weather and wear protective shoes, SPF, hats, sunglasses, etc. There is minimal space to store volunteer items so please be prepared to leave anything you do not need at home. Every volunteer is required to sign the liability waiver located at the end of this form: "I am aware of the terms and conditions of this agreement and am signing this agreement of my own free will. Further, by signing this agreement I attest to the fact that I am eighteen years of age or older. I expressly agree that this Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Ohio in the United States of America and that this Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio."
