Volunteer Agreement
I understand that as a volunteer with St. Pete Pride, I am not an employee and will not receive compensation, benefits, or insurance coverage. My participation is voluntary.
Assumption of Risk
I recognize that volunteering may involve certain risks, including but not limited to physical activity, crowds, outdoor weather conditions, and interactions with the public. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.
Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to volunteer, I release and hold harmless St. Pete Pride, its staff, board of directors, partners, and sponsors from any and all liability, claims, or demands that may arise from my participation, including injury, illness, or property damage.
Medical Treatment
I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary if I am injured or require medical attention while volunteering. I understand that I am responsible for any related costs.
Code of Conduct
I agree to conduct myself in a respectful and responsible manner, to follow instructions from event staff, and to represent St. Pete Pride in a positive way.
I will treat all participants, staff, vendors, and community members with dignity and respect.
I understand that St. Pete Pride is an LGBTQ+ celebration, and I will uphold and affirm the rights, identities, and experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals.
Discrimination, harassment, hate speech, or any behavior that undermines the safety and inclusivity of the event will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from my volunteer role.
Media Release
I grant St. Pete Pride permission to use photos, video, or other media of me taken during my volunteer activities for promotional purposes.
