About the event

The Curwood Festival is just around the corner, and we are thrilled to revive a beloved tradition, The River Daze, on June 7, 2026. Participants will craft homemade rafts and race them down the scenic Shiawassee River alongside kayaks, canoes, and tubes. The event will kick off at McCurdy Park at 11 AM and finish by the footbridge at the Curwood Castle Park. Please arrive no later than 10 am to allow time for registration check in and setup.
