About the application

Hey there, Amazing Volunteers! A huge thank you for jumping aboard to help with the Mussel Farm Boat Tours of Penn Cove – these are unforgettable, 45-minute adventures packed with fun facts and stunning views, led by an expert guide from Penn Cove Shellfish! Get ready to dive into the excitement as we showcase sustainable mussel magic right on the water. We're on the hunt for enthusiastic folks to rock the Boat Ticket Booth. You'll be the friendly face answering burning questions, scanning tickets with a smile, maybe even selling those last-minute spots after online sales wrap up, and guiding eager ticketholders straight to the action at the dock. And for our dockside superstars? You'll help rally the crowd, keep lines smooth and spirited, and hold the fort until the captain gives the green light to board – all while soaking in that fresh sea breeze! Heads up: Since we're out on the iconic Coupeville Wharf, bundle up in your coziest layers to stay toasty against the crisp March vibes! Pro tip: Arrive at your post 5 minutes early to hit the ground running, and stick around 5 minutes post-shift for a seamless handoff. Don't forget – every volunteer must swing by the Volunteer Coordinator at the Masonic Lodge first for your T-shirt, instructions and last minute changes, so give yourself plenty of time to check in and gear up for the fun! Please also check out through the Masonic Lodge to turn in any equipment and/or request letters of volunteer time. Let's make this Musselfest unforgettable together!
