About the event

The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival®, fondly known as “The Bloom,” is a 10-day springtime celebration in Winchester, Virginia. Since 1924, it has honored the region’s apple heritage with parades, concerts, dances, races, and community gatherings, all set against a backdrop of pink and green blossoms.

Volunteer with the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival! Be part of one of Virginia’s most cherished traditions by joining our team of volunteers. From helping with parades and concerts to assisting at community events, volunteers play a vital role in bringing “The Bloom” to life. It’s a fun and rewarding way to celebrate spring, meet new people, and give back to the community.
