About the event

🎃🐾 Get Ready for the Annual Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Parade & Contest! 🐾🎃 Sponsored by the Downtown Belmont Development Assn., Simply American Dog Treat Company, Centra Properties and Belmont Bookshop. The parade route is around Stowe Park ending up at the Amphitheatre. Judges will choose a first and second prize. Prizes are donated by Simply American Dog Treat Company, and Belmont Bookshop. Special thank you to Belmont Bookshop, South Point Vet Hospital, Belmont Animal Hospital, and Gaston County Animal Control & Enforcement for being our judges. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Gaston County Animal Control & Enforcement. This event is rain or shine.

About the application

Volunteers will be in a white tent in front of the pavilion and assist with managing day of ticket sales for the event checking in applicants that applied online. A square terminal and list of online tickets will be provided.

Volunteers will assist by following the tail end of the parade to help lead participants as needed. Volunteers will be provided with poop bags in case a pet owner needs them.
