About the event

Main Street Gardnerville, Douglas County Community Services, and the Carson Valley Arts Council are partnering again to present the 4th annual Día de Los Muertos festival. Join us for a day of celebration with Mariachi music, Folkloric, Aztec Dancers, and a 12ft Catrina doll presentation by Latino Arte & Culture of Reno, Food and drink vendors, arts and crafts, face painting, Altars, and MORE! Saturday, November 1st, 2025, 11 am-5 pm. Main Street Gardnerville, Los Servicios Comunitarios del Condado de Douglas, y el Consejo de las Artes de Carson Valley nuevamente para presentar el segundo festival anual del Día de Los Muertos en el centro de Gardnerville el sábado 1 de noviembre de 2025, de 11 am a 5 pm. Únase a nosotros para un día de celebración con mariachi y música de baile, bailarines folclóricos y Aztec, y una presentación de una muñeca Catrina de 12 pies a cargo de Latino Arte & Culture de Reno. ¡Tendremos vendedores de comida y bebida, artesanías, pintura de caras, ofrendas y mucho MÁS!

About the application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Dia de Los Muertos Festival. Many in the Carson Valley and surrounding areas look forward to this event every year. Without volunteers like you, this event wouldn't be possible. Below is a list of available jobs, duties, and responsibilities:

Terms & Conditions

Event Indemnification and Release of Liability: The undersigned, in consideration of participation in any event held by Main Street Gardnerville, releases and forever discharges the Town, Main Street Gardnerville, its officers, agents, employees and representatives, and their respective heirs, successors and assigns, from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, proceedings, debts, dues, contracts, judgments, damages, claims, and/or demands whatsoever in law or equity that the undersigned, its successors or assigns, ever had, now have, or may have in the future in connection with the undersigned’s participation in any event held by Main Street Gardnerville. The undersigned further agrees to hold and save the Town, Main Street Gardnerville, its officers, agents, employees, volunteers and others working on behalf of the Main Street Gardnerville Program Corporation and their respective heirs, successors and assigns harmless from any claims by any others, including costs and expenses, for or on any account of any and all lawsuits or claims of any character whatsoever arising directly out of or from the undersigned’s participation in any event, including any claim for property damage and/or personal injury, including death. The foregoing release and indemnity shall apply regardless of any negligence or strict liability of the Town and Main Street Gardnerville except to the extent the loss is caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Town and/or Main Street Gardnerville. If the participation of the undersigned in an event involves a vehicle operated by the undersigned, the vehicle used in participation, in any event, shall be properly and adequately insured at all times during such participation.
