We’re excited to welcome volunteers to be part of Mexican Independence Day Celebration with The City of Morrow, GA, happening on 09/13/25 at 1065 Olde Towne Morrow Rd, Morrow, GA, 30260! This event wouldn’t be possible without the energy and dedication of an amazing volunteer team and we’d love for you to be part of it. Why Volunteer? As a volunteer, you’ll gain hands-on experience, meet new people, and play a key role in making the event a success. Whether you're passionate about gaining experience or just looking to get involved in your community, we have a role for you. Volunteer Roles May Include: Event setup and takedown Registration/check-in Guest assistance and crowd management Activity or booth support Tech/logistics support Clean-up crew Other support tasks as needed What You’ll Get: A behind-the-scenes experience of a major event Volunteer certificate or community service hours (if applicable) Our sincere appreciation! Requirements: Must be minimum age of 15 years old Reliable, punctual, and a team player Available for at least 5 hours on the event day(s) Fill out the form below to apply. Volunteer Terms and Conditions Mexican Independence Day Celebration – September 13, 2025 By submitting this application and participating as a volunteer for Mexican Independence Day Celebration, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Volunteer Role and Conduct Volunteers must perform their assigned duties to the best of their abilities. Volunteers are expected to act professionally, respectfully, and in alignment with the values of The City of Morrow. Volunteers must follow instructions from event staff and coordinators at all times. 2. Commitment and Attendance Volunteers must be punctual and attend all assigned shifts, including mandatory orientation or training sessions (if applicable) If you are unable to attend or complete your shift, you must notify the volunteer coordinator as early as possible. 3. Age Requirement Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. (Parental/guardian consent may be required for minors.) 4. Liability Waiver Volunteers acknowledge that participation in the event may involve physical activity and possible risks. By volunteering, you release and hold harmless The City of Morrow, its staff, partners, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your participation, except in cases of gross negligence. 5. Health and Safety Volunteers must comply with all health and safety regulations set by City of Morrow, venue staff, and local authorities. Volunteers who feel unwell or are experiencing symptoms of illness must notify event staff and may be asked not to attend. 6. Confidentiality Volunteers may be exposed to sensitive information and agree to keep all confidential materials and discussions private unless given explicit permission to share. 7. Photography & Media Release By participating, volunteers grant permission to be photographed or filmed during the event and allow the use of their image or likeness for promotional purposes by City of Morrow. 8. No Compensation Volunteering is an unpaid position. Volunteers are not entitled to wages, benefits, or any future employment rights. 9. Right to Dismiss The City of Morrow reserves the right to terminate any volunteer’s participation at any time for behavior deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or in violation of these terms. By submitting your application and participating in Mexican Independence Day Celebration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
