About the event

Fort Collins Comic Con is a locally organized, affordable convention celebrating geek culture and our creative community. Since 2015, we’ve raised over $155,000 for youth literacy and mental health initiatives. Packed with everything you love: comics, cosplay, gaming, scientists, special guests, and more, our events bring together 3,000+ fans, 150+ vendors, and a passion for comics, pop culture, gaming, and creativity in Northern Colorado. Through our partnerships with organizations like the Fort Collins Symphony, the Fort Collins Autism Resource Fair, and the Teen Self-Care Fair from the Alliance for Suicide Prevention, we also help provide creative literacy programming to our community’s youth, illuminating pathways to creativity and mental wellbeing that are both fun and sustainable.

About the application

Volunteers get into the Con (the whole weekend) for free, and can enjoy the Con before and after their volunteer shift. Volunteers may also cosplay! Help out by sitting booths for vendors, running water, checking attendees in and much more! Invite your friends to volunteer with you! Signing up for the same shift together is a great option, especially if you're new to volunteering and feeling a bit unsure about what to expect. If you have any questions before volunteering, please send us an email or hit the "Contact Organizer" button on this application and we'll get back to you ASAP!

Terms & Conditions

Rules for Volunteers Volunteering for Fort Collins Comic Con, acceptance, and/or usage of the Volunteer badge indicates agreement with the following terms and conditions: 1. Your actions reflect on Fort Collins Comic Con. If your behavior does not reflect well on our event, you will be ejected from the Con. 2. You must wear your badge at all times, even when outside. 3. Volunteer assumes all risk and danger or personal injury, damage to property, including death, and all other hazards arising from, or related in any way to, the event, caused by negligence, gross negligence, or otherwise, and the attendee releases Fort Collins Comic Con, any and all sponsors, employees, volunteers and its agents from any and all liabilities/claims resulting from such risk, danger, damage, injury or death. 4. Bridge Crew is your first and last point of contact for any questions, concerns, or comments. 5. When in doubt, always send your question up the chain. If an attendee feels harassed or threatened, you should report it to the closest Bridge Crew member and escort the attendee to the volunteer break area. 6. If you do not feel safe while performing your volunteer assignment, leave the area immediately and inform the Bridge Crew.
