A “volunteer” is anyone who, without compensation or expectation of compensation, performs a task at the direction of and on behalf of the InfinityCon staff in support of InfinityCon Gainesville.
A volunteer must be officially accepted and enrolled by the InfinityCon Volunteer Program prior to performance of the task.
Volunteers will be allowed free admission on the day they volunteer. If you only volunteer for one (1) day, you will only have free admission on that day. If you volunteer for two (2) days, you will have free admission for both days.
We will also have limited volunteer positions available for setup on Friday, Nov 14th and for closing/tear down at 5PM on Sunday Nov 16th. You can let us know your interest for this on the application.
Volunteer deadline is Friday, November 7th.
You must be at least 16 years of age by November 14, 2025.
No costumes are allowed to be worn during your shift.
No children, significant others, and/or friends are allowed to "work" with you during your shift.
You are expected to be present during your assignment and responsible for duties assigned by the Area Manager. You are also expected to work the full shift hours you were assigned.
You will be allowed bathroom breaks and a lunch break during a full day shift.
Smoke breaks will only be allowed on lunch breaks (full day shift) or after/before your shift. Absolutely NO vapes allowed to be used outside of the smoking area.
No alcoholic beverages or drugs are allowed to be consumed or carried during your shift. If you arrive intoxicated or become intoxicated during your shift, you will not be able to volunteer. If you arrive to the venue with illegal drugs, you will be escorted off the premise by security.
Shift assignments will be emailed to you and available on the Eventeny login.
If there is an emergency and you are not able to work your shift, please contact us in a timely manner.
**If you are not feeling well, have tested positive for COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please let us know, and stay home to take care of yourself.
**If you do not show up for your shift and do not notify us, you will no longer qualify to volunteer for InfinityCon.
Please wear comfortable shoes as you will most likely be standing for the majority of your shift. We DO NOT offer safe keeping so please do not bring anything with you to store (i.e. purses, merchandise, costumes, etc.). We suggest keeping these items locked in your car or with a companion.
Filling out the volunteer form affirms that you understand the risks and hazards associated with volunteering. As a volunteer, you expressly assume all risk of injury or harm from these activities and release InfinityCon or Parent company Lunar 11 Entertainment LLC from all liability that may arise at Infinity Con Gainesville, 2025.
By filling out the volunteer form you release and forever discharge and hold harmless InfinityCon or Parent company Lunar 11 Entertainment LLC, and their successors and assigns from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind of nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may arise from the services you provide at InfinityCon Gainesville, 2025.
Filling out the volunteer form you also grant and convey to InfinityCon or Parent company Lunar 11 Entertainment LLC all right, title, and interests in any and all photographs, images, video, or audio recordings of you or your likeness or voice made by InfinityCon in connection with providing volunteer services.
