About the application

Volunteer with Juneteenth Augusta Festival The Juneteenth Augusta Festival is made possible by the dedication, energy, and heart of our volunteers. Each year, volunteers play a critical role in helping us deliver a safe, welcoming, and impactful celebration for thousands of attendees from across the region. We are seeking reliable, community-minded individuals to assist in a variety of roles, including but not limited to: • Guest services & information support • Vendor and sponsor assistance • Hospitality & check-in support • Stage & activity area support • Setup, breakdown, and general operations While volunteers are able to indicate preferred roles, shifts, and time availability during the application process, festival operations are dynamic. Volunteers are asked to remain flexible and understand that assignments, locations, or shift times may be adjusted or reassigned as needed to support overall festival operations. Volunteers are expected to arrive on time, follow instructions from team leads, maintain a positive attitude, and represent the festival with professionalism and respect. Prior event experience is helpful but not required—training and guidance will be provided. By volunteering, you become part of a team committed to celebrating history, culture, and community while helping ensure a smooth and successful festival experience for all. Complete the application to be considered for volunteer opportunities. Selected volunteers will be contacted with role assignments, shift details, and next steps.
