2025 Taste of the Fourth Volunteer

message The ToTF Marketing Team works to increase awareness of and engagement with the event. You'll work closely with the ToTF Planning Committee to plan and execute a comprehensive advertising effort that will include appropriately leveraging existing marketing materials, identifying new avenues to raise awareness of the event, and leading efforts to distribute and socialize marketing material. The ToTF Marketing Team will be able to leverage previous years' marketing approaches and has the support of O4WNA's graphic designer and social media volunteers. Marketing efforts are already underway so volunteers will not need to start marketing efforts from scratch. Estimated support time: 1 - 3 hours/week leading up to the event.

message Set up activities include helping vendors with bringing supplies into event space, helping vendors set up their tables (if needed), setting up ticketing and raffle stations, ensuring way-finding signs are set up, putting up decorations, and ensuring event is ready for attendees before the start of the event.

message We need event photographers! Whether you're new to photography or a seasoned professional, we could use your help! We're looking for volunteers to help us capture the magic of the Taste of the Fourth: the people, the food, the energy—all of it! Photographers are asked to provide their own equipment and are welcome to take as many photos as they'd like while enjoying the event themselves.

message Raffle Ticket Managers will be stationed at a table near the entrance so that as attendees enter, they'll have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets. Responsibilities include promoting the raffle and raffle items as attendees enter, confirming purchase of tickets, and handing out physical tickets. There will be two shifts for Raffle Ticket Managers (6 - 7pm and 7 - 8pm) so that volunteers will have ample time to enjoy the event as well. Raffle ticket sales will end an hour prior to the end of the event.

message Ticketing volunteers will be scanning tickets as attendees enter the event space. You will be required to download the Eventeny app on your phone and use your personal device to scan QR code tickets using your phone's camera. You will be provided ticket-scanning access (through the Eventeny app) by the Event Administrator. There will be two shifts for ticket volunteers to ensure ample time for volunteers to enjoy the event. Each shift will last approximately an hour (6 - 7 and 7 - 8), with final ticket scanning ending about an hour prior to the event's end.

message Clean up activities include helping vendors with breaking down their stations and moving their materials back to their vehicles (if requested), breaking down the tables and chairs, breaking down the entry/ticketing tables, collecting way-finding signs, taking down decorations, and ensuring event space is back to it's original condition.
