About the event

The David M. Carmines Memorial Foundation was established by The Carmines family with a mission to serve the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton community while honoring their son. Through our annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival, we work to make a difference in our home and pay tribute to those who have come before us - while sharing some of the best seafood on the Island! Each and every ticket we sell helps to provide funds for non-profits that benefit our beloved Lowcountry, offer meaningful experiences rooted in Southern hospitality, and bring people together with a shared love of seafood. We are proud and humbled to be part of this vibrant community; giving back has never tasted better!

About the application

Pig Picking'& Oyster Roast-Friday, Feb. 27, 2026 Event Time 6:00- 8:30PM Admissions team volunteer shift begins at 5:00PM and ends at 9:00 PM. Volunteers in this position assist with guest check in, glassware, wristbands, general welcoming for guests as well as any other needed assistance during that time. We ask that all volunteers remain flexible in your position. Please wear black or navy pants and a white collared shirt for your shift.

message NEW FOR 2026! A Whiskey / Wine Pull tent during the Friday evening event! Volunteers will sell tickets to attendees for this event as well as hand out the winning bottle(s). The fun part of a wine pull is that each bottle is in a paper bag so that attendees have no idea which whiskey/wine they're pulling. It would be ideal to have the same team work the tent Friday and Saturday. This is not a difficult station to work, but it's fast-paced and I-Pad experience would be helpful.
