Fandom Charities Inc.® is excited to announce the return of the HellmouthCon, a global fandom event, set for June 13-14 2026, at Torrance High School, the filming location for "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." About the application

Welcome to The Hellmouth Convention 2026 Team Member Application. If the applicant will be under the age of 18 on June 13th 2026, a parent or guardian must complete this application on their behalf. Applicants under the age of 18 must also be accompanied by a parent or guardian who has also been approved to volunteer in the same department the entire time they are at the convention.

Terms & Conditions

I agree that I freely accept and fully assume all risks including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or other loss resulting from, arising in connection with, or otherwise related to my participating in the Event. I hereby waive, release and forever discharge Fandom Charities, its employees, representatives, and other Volunteers from and against any and all claims, actions, demands, liabilities, damages, and expenses of any kind that I have or may have in the future against Fandom Charities resulting from, arising in connection with or otherwise related to my participating in the event. If I am a parent/legal guardian signing on behalf of a minor, I agree to all of these on behalf of the minor.rnrnThis agreement releases Fandom Charities Inc., The HellmouthCon 2026, and Torrance High School from all liability relating to injuries that may occur while volunteering personal time for the convention.rnrnIf you are approved to be a member of The Hellmouth Team, you will be granted access to our Slack Team, and/or a hellmouthevents.org email address. All approved volunteers must be active on their Slack account during the time leading up to the event, as well as at the event as that is how we send out important updates. Any information sent, received, or stored on either of these platforms may be accessed by The Hellmouth Convention Committee members or Fandom Charities board members should the need arise to resolve internal volunteer disputes, or due to complaints made by members of the public. If you don't want someone else potentially reading something, don't use the Fandom Charities email or Slack team to send or store it. Please make sure you have Eventeny message notifications, as well as Slack notifications turned on. If your department head is unable to get in touch with you on Slack, you will be removed as a volunteer because the assumption will be made that you will be unable to attend.rnrnI acknowledge the risks involved in Volunteer Work. These include but are not limited to fatigue, stress, and personal injury. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity. rnrnI acknowledge that I am not an employee of The HellmouthCon 2026 / Fandom Charities Inc., and that in exchange for volunteer hours I am receiving no monetary compensation.rnrnI acknowledge I forfeit all rights to bring a suit against Fandom Charities Inc., The HellmouthCon 2026 and Torrance High School for any reason. I will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to me verbally. I will ask for clarification when needed.rnrnI agree to follow any and all terms and conditions/policies listed on Convention Policies page. I understand that these policies may be updated at anytime with or without notice, and I will be held to the version that is currently posted at the time of the convention.
