About the event

Citrus County Chamber Annual Christmas Parades. Two Towns, Two Parades, Two (different) Days, ONE GREAT TIME! Crystal River Parade - Saturday, December 6th | 6:00 p.m. Inverness Parade - Saturday, December 13th | 12:00 p.m. Please note, there are TWO registrations for 2025. Each city has it's own registration. If you are wishing to be in BOTH parades, you will be required to fill out both Crystal River and Inverness Parade Applications.

About the application

The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to host the 2025 Chamber Christmas Parade in Crystal River on Saturday, December 6th, and we would love for you to join us as a volunteer! Volunteers are essential to making this festive event a success, and your help would be greatly appreciated! Volunteer Opportunities for the Crystal River Parade – Saturday, December 6th Thank you for your interest in helping with the Crystal River Parade! We’re excited to have your support in making this event a success. Below are the available shifts and duties for the day: Available Shifts and Duties: Set-Up: 8:00 am – 11:00 am Assist with setting up signs, trash cans, the judges’ area, fencing, and the check-in area. Check-In: 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm Greet participants, check them in, tape numbers to vehicles/banners, and guide them to their assigned roads. Staging: 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm Help line up participants on 3rd, 4th, or 5th Street in the correct order. End of Parade Exiting: 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm Remove numbers from participants and assist with their safe exit from the parade. Clean-Up: 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm Help pick up signs, trash cans, fencing, and other items from the judges’ area and check-in area. Parade Walkers: 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm Walk alongside the parade to ensure it runs smoothly with no gaps or delays. How to Sign Up: Please reply to this email with your preferred shift(s) and duty. 2025 Crystal River Christmas Parade Volunteer Disclaimer and Hold Harmless Agreement Event Date: December 6, 2025 The undersigned hereby agrees that as a volunteer for the 2025 Crystal River Christmas Parade on December 6, 2025, they are offering their services willingly and without compensation, and assume all risks associated with their participation in any and all event-related activities. In consideration for being allowed to participate as a volunteer, the undersigned does hereby release, waive, and discharge the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Crystal River, including their officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that may be sustained by the volunteer or to any property belonging to them, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise, while participating in or in transit to or from the event. The undersigned further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Crystal River from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from the volunteer’s actions or omissions during their participation in the event. By signing below, the volunteer (or parent/legal guardian in the case of a minor) acknowledges that they have read and fully understand this agreement and voluntarily agree to its terms. This agreement shall be binding upon the volunteer, their heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
