1. General Expectations
-Volunteers must arrive on time and stay for the full duration of their assigned shift.
-Volunteers agree to perform their duties to the best of their ability and follow all instructions given by the event staff or supervisors.
-Volunteers are expected to be courteous, respectful, and professional at all times.
2. Minimum Age Requirement
-Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
3. Shift Commitment
-Volunteers are expected to honor the shift they commit to. If unable to attend, notice must be given at least 48 hours in advance unless it is an emergency.
-While we strive to accommodate preferences, preferred volunteer shifts are not guaranteed and are subject to availability and event needs.
4. Dress Code
-Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes unless otherwise instructed. A volunteer badge must be worn visibly during the shift.
5. Behavior and Conduct
-No consumption of alcohol, smoking, or drug use is permitted while volunteering.
-Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the volunteer role.
6. Liability and Safety
-Volunteers understand they are participating at their own risk and agree to follow all safety protocols.
-Volunteers release the organizers, staff, and partners from any liability for injuries or damages incurred while volunteering.
7. Confidentiality
-Volunteers may be exposed to private or sensitive information and agree not to disclose or share this information outside the scope of their volunteer duties.
8. Photography & Media Release
-By volunteering, you consent to be photographed or filmed during the event. These images may be used for promotional or marketing purposes.
9. Termination
-The organization reserves the right to terminate a volunteer’s role at any time for failure to comply with these terms or for behavior deemed inappropriate.
