This is an application to volunteer work for Taste of Mableton 2025 Taste of Mableton - Volunteer Role Descriptions Parade Volunteers (2 Needed) Assist with parade setup and coordination. Help participants find their starting positions, keep parade flow organized, and provide general support along the parade route. Some walking and standing required. Art Center Volunteers (3 Confirmed) Support the Arts Center information table. Greet guests, answer basic questions about event activities, assist with vendor and artist needs, and help direct attendees inside and around the Arts Center space. Public Seating Area Volunteers (5 Needed) Help maintain cleanliness and comfort in the public seating areas. Duties include wiping down tables, disposing of trash, ensuring seats are available for guests, and keeping the area tidy and welcoming throughout the event. Friday Event Prep Volunteers (2 Needed) Assist with pre-event setup on Friday. Tasks may include unloading supplies, helping set up tables, chairs, signage, volunteer tents, and preparing materials for Saturday activities. Floaters (1-2 Needed) Flexible volunteers ready to jump in where needed. Tasks may include covering short-staffed areas, assisting with guest flow, running materials to different stations, or filling urgent needs as they arise. General Notes for All Volunteers: ● - Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. ● - Check in at the Volunteer Tent upon arrival for assignments and updates. ● - Water and snacks will be provided. ● - Bring positive energy and a willingness to help wherever needed!
