The Parking Crew & Attendants are the first (and last) faces our guests will see, and they keep the chaos in the lots from turning into a Fast & Furious spin-off. No valet, no nonsense — just smooth, organized traffic flow with a smile and maybe a golf cart. Parking Crew & Attendants Department: Parking & Transportation Type: Paid & Volunteer Positions Available Rate: $100–$175/day depending on role, experience, and shift (10–12 hr shifts) Schedule: September 26th–28th (plus orientation 9/25) Reports To: Parking Manager / Operations Lead Role Summary: You're the traffic controller, the directional guru, and the parking whisperer. Whether you're flagging in vendors at dawn or helping guests find the closest handicap-accessible space, you’re the calm in the parking storm. You’ll help park cars across General Admission, Premier, Handicap, and Vendor lots, and a few lucky legends might get access to a golf cart for transport assistance. Duties & Responsibilities: -Greet and direct vehicles into designated parking areas quickly and efficiently -Coordinate flow between multiple parking zones (Talent, GA, Premier, Handicap, Vendor) -Ensure fire lanes and access paths remain open and clear at all times -Communicate with radios and your team to prevent bottlenecks and back-ups -Provide golf cart transportation if assigned (must be trained and approved) -Set up and remove cones, signs, and directional barriers before and after shifts -Maintain a calm and friendly attitude in high-traffic situations -Assist guests with directions, questions, and accessibility needs Qualifications: -Must be 16+ years old for volunteer roles; 18+ for paid positions and/or golf cart operation -Comfortable being on your feet or in motion for extended periods -Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions -Great communication skills and solid awareness of your surroundings -Must be able to lift 25 lbs (cones, signs, etc.) -Previous parking or event experience is a huge plus, but not required -Must be able to follow a plan — not freestyle the parking layout Bonus if you: -Know how to drive a golf cart without turning it into a rally car -Have experience in event logistics, security, or crowd control -Can read a parking map and pivot when the lot fills up faster than expected From sunrise vendor arrivals to late-night guest exits, the parking crew keeps it moving and keeps it safe. You're basically the unsung heroes of festival logistics.
