About the event

The Downtown Concert Series is a 4 week series produced by Downtown Vision (DVI), the Business Improvement District, and The Florida Theatre to bring people to the cultural and historical center of the city and showcase Jacksonville’s deep and energetic pool of creative talent. This concert series, the first of its kind in Jacksonville, begins on Thursday, April 8, 2021 and continues on every successive Thursday through April 29, 2021. With the St John's River as the backdrop, we highlight the construction and changes coming to Downtown Jacksonville. We estimate that 5,000 will be in attendance during each weekly concert, a great opportunities for vendors and food trucks to engage with the local Jacksonville community; those that live, work, and play downtown.

VOLUNTEER FOR APRIL 15TH SHOW Lanyards will be provided for ALL volunteers Volunteer Hours are 3:30-10:00 p.m. including a training prior to the concert and the concert volunteer time. *ASSIGNMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE* Small Business Market Duties: -Be a volunteer liaison with our Events Manager - Haley Tinkle *2 Volunteers* Food Truck Duties: -Cleaning off bistro/picnic tables after guest use -Cleaning up any trash *4 Volunteers* Bar Area Duties: -ID check for bars -Cleaning off bistro/picnic tables after guest use -Cleaning up any trash *12 Volunteers* VIP Duties: -Check-in -Set up/breakdown -Assist with clearing off tables from trash periodically *2 Volunteers* DVI Merch Tent: -Manage sales of Merchandise *2 Volunteers* If you are approved, you will be contacted to move forward as a Volunteer for The Jax River Jams Concert Series on April 22nd If you are approved you must fill out the liability form attached to this page and turn it in prior to the day you volunteer.

- As a registered Volunteer I will agree to sign any waivers presented to me in relation to my volunteer services. - As a registered volunteer for Downtown Vision, Inc and for all volunteer related activities, you do hereby discharge Downtown Vision, Inc., the event site, their management, officers, board members, employees, members, sponsors, volunteers, representatives and their successors, and all cooperating businesses and organizations, from all claims of damages, demands, actions and causes whatsoever in any manner arising from or growing out of your participation in the Jax River Jams concert series by Downtown Vision, Inc. -As a volunteer, you agree to indemnify and hold Downtown Vision, Inc. harmless for all fines, penalties, fees and expenses incurred as a result of or related to any breach of contractual obligation to the participant. -As a volunteer, I will conduct all volunteer activities with high standards, professionalism, and good taste, and will do nothing to cause detriment to the reputation or goodwill of Downtown Vision or VyStar Credit Union.
