About the event

Out! Raleigh Pride is returning on June 20-21, 2025 for our 13th year! Join us on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh for an inclusive and family-friendly action-packed event on Saturday the 21st, with activities for all ages. For the first year ever, we are also including Out! Raleigh at Night on Friday the 20th with vendors who are aimed towards adult audiences. Running from 6pm to 10pm on Friday the 20th and 12:00pm to 7:00pm on Saturday the 21st, the event offers live entertainment, local vendors and artists, great food, a KidsZone (on Saturday), and a beer garden! There is no admission fee for either day. This event is an important way to raise the necessary funds to support the LGBT Center of Raleigh and all of its 20+ amazing community programs. Last year's event brought tens of thousands of people onto Raleigh’s Fayetteville Street to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, our friends, and families. Support Out! About the application

A typical shift will be around 2-3 hours in length and will begin as early as 6:00am and end as late as 11:00pm. Volunteer areas will include Greeting, KidsZone, Teen Zone, Sober Space, Low Sensory Zone, Beer/Wine Server, Safety Team and more. ALL volunteers are required to attend one of the orientation sessions we'll be offering (dates below). Most areas require volunteers to be 18+ and beer/wine tents require volunteers to be 21+, but there are a few opportunities for teens and families to volunteer together. Shift assignments will be made during orientations.
