About the application

The General Entry - Marching Bands ONLY application is designed specifically for high school, collegiate, or other marching bands looking to participate in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade. The information submitted in this application will be used during the Unit Selection process. More detailed information will be requested upon acceptance into the parade lineup.

About the event

The 51st Annual Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe will feature larger-than-life balloons, elaborate floats, marching bands, & more! This year's theme is "Spirit of Competition" to embrace the return of band & float judging.

Terms & Conditions

The Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe requires all parade participants to adhere to a set list of rules & regulations. A document will be attached inside the application. An acknowledgement of these guidelines & a signature is required to complete the application. The following are important to note before beginning the application process:

No commercial / sponsor signage may be displayed by your group, in any way, on the parade route without prior approval from the Parade Committee.
Float designs must be approved by the Parade Committee. Please include renderings or sketches in the application. Updates must be sent to the Parade Committee prior to delivery. The Parade Committee reserves the right to request changes if the design does not fit within the guidelines.
All items that are being handed out to the crowd must be approved by the Parade Committee. Please include a brief description in the application if you plan to hand anything out. Final approvals for items will take place 2 weeks before parade day.
Each unit must provide their own banner & a minimum of two (2) banner carriers.
If vehicles are used, all participants must be seated & securely enclosed by four (4) walls or a safety belt.
Anyone riding on a float must be attached to the float by a seatbelt-type strap or belt with a quick release mechanism of sufficient strength to hold a person in motion.
Entries cannot exceed thirteen (13) feet & six (6) inches in height due to overhead hazards. There is no limit on the length of a float entry, as long as it can safely navigate the route.
All accepted entries must submit a Certificate of Insurance. Units that use vehicles must provide Vehicle Insurance.
