About the application

Come setup your food truck at the Lucky Flea lot and offer your menu to hundreds of hungry shoppers from 10AM-4PM! All types of food and dessert vendors are welcome to apply! Please fill out and submit the application below in order to be considered as a food truck vendor for market dates in JULY at the Lucky Flea. Vendors may apply for as many or as few dates as they wish.

About the event

The Lucky Flea is a large open-air flea market that hosts over 100 vendors every Sunday in Rochester’s Neighborhood of the Arts. The Flea is a space for local creatives, collectors and vintage curators to gather and sell while connecting with their local customers every week. Our alternative market provides an accessible shopping experience that welcomes patrons to support sustainable efforts and small businesses. The diverse crew of vendors changes weekly, creating a consistently new experience to discover. The market operates 10AM - 4PM outdoors at 320 N Goodman Street.

Terms & Conditions

You will only be charged if you are ACCEPTED for your selected vending dates.
 
NO REFUNDS: There are no date transfers or refunds of the vending fee as vendor fees are used for promotional materials, rent and event costs.
 
WEATHER: The market is a rain or shine event. We will remain open in all weather that allows us to continue to operate safely.
 
YOUR VENDING SPACE: Your space at The Lucky Flea will be a spot appropriate for the size of your truck on the asphalt of the Village Gate parking lot located at 320 N Goodman Street. No additional vending materials will be provided. The complete vendor map (including finalized food truck vendor space assignments) will be sent out via email two days prior to your participating date. Vendor spaces are not necessarily the same for each market, so keep an eye out for space changes every week.
 
SETUP AND BREAK DOWN: Setup time is between 7AM - 10AM, all food trucks must be parked at their spot by 9AM and ready to open at 10AM. Any food trucks that arrive after market open will NOT be allowed to set up for safety reasons. Breakdown can begin after market close at 4PM. Food trucks cannot leave early under any circumstances as this poses a large safety concern for all patrons/ vendors at the market.
 
TRASH BINS: Food truck vendors are REQUIRED to bring trash cans with them to set up next to their truck. These cans must be checked throughout the market to make sure customers have an area to dispose of their food refuse. By the close of the market, all vendors must make sure their area is clear of all trash/debris. All trash must be taken off premises at the close of the market. Any vendors that leave trash behind or dispose of their debris in our garbage bins, will NOT be allowed back for future events. 
 
PERMITS: All food trucks vendors must make sure they have obtained a license to operate, liability insurance, a New York State Health Department permit, complete a fire safety training class and pass an inspection by the License Investigation Unit of the Rochester Police Department and the Fire Safety Division of the Rochester Fire Department.
 
FLEA VALUES: The Lucky Flea is first and foremost a safe and inclusive atmosphere for creators to thrive as a collective. Hate is never tolerated. By sending in an application you hereby declare that you have read and accept all conditions of The Lucky Flea Market. You understand that there are no refunds of the vending fee. I consent to all photos/ videos taken at the event to be released publicly. The Lucky Flea LLC. and affiliated businesses including Village Gate are not responsible for any liability, lost or stolen merchandise or injury during the event.
