About the application

After another very successful year, the Kansas City Irish Festival is happy to continue their annual Art in the Park addition to their celebration of Celtic pride. Up to fifty artisans will be showcased in the beautiful tree-lined Washington Park, adjacent to Crown Center Square and in the heart of Kansas City’s burgeoning historical art district – the Crossroads. Festival Hours: Fri 5pm – 11pm, Sat 11am – 11pm, Sun 11am – 11pm Art in the Park Hours: Fri 5pm - 9:30pm, Sat 11am - 9:30pm, sun 11am - 9:30pm Set-up: Thursday afternoon, Friday 7am – 3pm (trucks have access within approx. 400 ft. from booth) Tear down: By 12am Sunday night Security: On-site full time security provided during festival, Friday 5:00pm - Sunday 11:00pm. But Kansas City Irish Fest is not responsible for lost or stolen items so please plan accordingly. The Kansas City Irish Festival, the fastest growing Irish festival in America, has an outstanding reputation among participants and visitors, attracting over 100,000 people annually. We showcase two dozen world class acts on five main stages, Irish heritage exhibits, fabulous traditional food, children’s activities, and an Irish Marketplace. Two hotels on site sell out over 2000 hotel nights over the weekend. This juried festival is open to all emerging and established artists. Where we are looking to add to the cultural climate of a Celtic Festival, we are not limited to Celtic themed art.

With over 30 bands on nine stages, heritage workshops and displays, comedy, genealogy, a massive children’s area and so much more, there is no better way to celebrate Celtic Pride in Cowtown than Kansas City Irish Fest. Terms & Conditions

All work must be original design, produced and signed by the artist themselves. Artist representatives or sit-ins are permitted in the booths but the artist must be present at the festival. All booths must remain open during the posted Art in the Park hours above. The work exhibited must match the style and quality of work in the submitted digital images. Kansas City Irish Fest reserves the right to remove any media not approved during the application process that appears in your booth. All work must be for sale. Exhibitors will be responsible for collection and declaration of city and state sales tax. • Kansas City Irish Fest - Art in the Park will provide a standard electrical outlet for all exhibitors. Exhibitors must provide their own lighting, extension cords and power strips. • There will be designated areas for Art in the Park Booths. The KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST - ART IN THE PARK committee will make all final determinations regarding booth placement. • All fees will be nonrefundable, except at the sole discretion of the KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST - ART IN THE PARK. KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST - ART IN THE PARK will provide security and trash removal throughout the event. Exhibitors will be expected to help keep the area around their booths clean and free of debris. • Each exhibitor will be given FOUR VENDOR PASSES per day for the purpose of permitting staff to gain entrance to the festival grounds. • Exhibitors will be expected to have their booths completely set up at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the festival. • Exhibitors will be told of drop-off sites for loading and unloading their wares, and locations to park vehicles during the event. Vehicles are not allowed on site during festival hours. • Exhibitors will be allowed to sell their items only to persons on the festival grounds. • Overnight security is provided but please use your discretion. KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST - ART IN THE PARK is not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen property. • Exhibitors are not allowed to use the KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST brand names and/or logos on any merchandise unless approved by the KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST - ART IN THE PARK committee. • Exhibitors will comply with all local, city, and state rules and regulations. Exhibitors will supply all necessary items to accomplish these goals. • KANSAS CITY IRISH FEST - ART IN THE PARK will take place rain or shine and all fees are nonrefundable. • Exhibitors are responsible for charging the appropriate MO sales tax for their items, and reporting earnings to the Missouri Department of Revenue. • All Art in the Park vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, tables and chairs. Promotion If an artist is ultimately selected, image #1 can be used without compensation by Kansas City Irish Fest to represent artists’ work on the show specific website, brochure and banners. Legal Agreement Each artist must indemnify the Kansas City Irish Fest and Art Show at the Fest for any damages caused by their exhibit and/or their installation of their exhibit at the Kansas City Irish Fest All artwork exhibited at the Kansas City Irish Fest needs to be insured by the artist or self insured by the artist.

Art in the Park - 10 x 10 $300.00 Non-refundable Art in the Park booth space for a 10 x 10 tent. If you are approved to be an Art in the Park vendor, upon your acceptance of the space you will be charged by the method of payment you provided.
Art in th Park 10 x 15 $450.00 Non-refundable Art in the Park booth space for a 10 x 15 tent. If you are approved to be an Art in the Park vendor, upon your acceptance of the space you will be charged by the method of payment you provided.
Art in the Park 10 x 20 $600.00 Non-refundable Art in the Park booth space for a 10 x 20 tent. If you are approved to be an Art in the Park vendor, upon your acceptance of the space you will be charged by the method of payment you provided.
