About the event

West Reading will host its 29th annual Art on the Avenue, Berks County’s premiere art and music festival, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., June 17, on Penn Avenue. The event, sponsored by Customers Bank and Tower Health is rain or shine and showcases the work of local and regional artists, crafters, vendors, West Reading businesses, musicians and other talents. The entire festival, spanning four pedestrian friendly blocks and boasting upwards of 200 vendors, is free and open to the public. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. We do not provide tents, tables, chairs or electric.The WRCRF will use the information provided to determine applicant eligibility and reserves the right at its sole discretion to accept or decline vendor participation. This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

Terms & Conditions

We require all vendors to minimize the risk caused by canopies by following rules for canopy safety. Canopy weights must be attached to vendor canopies at all times. All vendors who erect canopies for Art on the Avenue are required to have their canopies sufficiently and safely anchored to the ground from the time their canopy is put up to the time it is taken down. Any vendor who fails to properly anchor his or her canopy will not be allowed to sell at the Art on the Avenue unless that vendor chooses to take down and stow their canopy and sell without it. Weights should be secured in a manner that does not create its own safety hazard. Weights should not cause a tripping hazard. Weights should be tethered with lines that are clearly visible. Weights should have soft edges to avoid causing cuts and scrapes. Weights should be securely attached. Weights should be on the ground (NOT above people’s heads).
